Cucina Tipica: An Italian Adventure is the story of Jacoby Pines, a disheartened American who arrives in Italy on holiday, and decides he never wants to leave. What follows is a wine-soaked, food-filled, travel-laden adventure about one man’s quest for an antiquated existence in the modern world.

Story was good, but the narrator's performance came off a little lackluster. He probably wasn't the best choice for this work either given his amateur pronunciation of Italian.

Fun story, but audible performance came up short

This is an okay story. A little predictable, but has a nice ending. My major complaint was the foul language used by two of the female characters. Using the F word in every sentence does not add anything to the story and is offensive.

The Italian adventure is truly transcending of geography, colorful vision and food. The plot a bit obvious but the tale of it was a nice vacation even if the Italian accents were bad.
This is not my typical type of book but I enjoyed it immensely, an easy gentle escape with a smile on my face and a craving for good wine.
