Me, a mermaid? Not anymore.

Life is wonderful until the morning I catch a merman in my net. One look at his perfect, pretty boy face, and I recognize him—Leander, Crown Prince of the Atlantic.

Not only does he recognize me, too, but he wants to take me back to the ocean with him. A curse has fallen over our people, and I can break it. But helping the merfolk who abandoned me? Yeah, that's a hard no.

Time to toss my stupidly handsome catch back to the ocean!

Except the merfolk don't take no for an answer, and they deliver me back to their prince in a cage.

New plan: Break the curse and get the heck back home. But when two more princes show up wanting me for themselves, I find myself stuck in a spell cast by not one, but three mermen.

Infuriating Leander.

Playful Kai.

Stoic Barren.

They're charming, attentive, and hot enough to set the ocean on fire. Imagine my surprise when I realize I'm not meant to choose between them—they’re all my mates.

But will these rival princes be willing to share?

Cursed Waters is the first in series of a slow-build medium-burn reverse harem romance where the main character will end up with more than one love interest. Expect humor, steam, and a sassy sea lion who wants to steal the FMC's harem away and make it her own.

This book was previously published as the serial Cursed Waters (Season One) Episodes 1-57 in the Kindle Vella store. Season Two is currently ongoing.

Wish the rest of the story was on audible. The ending wasn’t that satisfying. Interesting story, will buy the rest when it comes out.

It’s good but the rest isn’t on audible yet

Over all I love it. My only issue I had with the actors was Barren, it just didn’t fit quite right to me but Lee was spot on, Kai was like 95% there (I imagine him with more of a California surfer flare in his voice), Laverne I also imagined with a bit more of a cali accent but when I heard her I went yeah that fits, Claira was perfect but Barren just didn’t work, yeah he sounded big but there was no accent and they made him just sound like he was stupid with no regard to anything around him to me (basically a barbarian who solve all their problems by destroying things around them) but we all know that is the furthest thing from the truth (or at least now it is) and it almost makes me want to skip over the chapters where it’s his pov or him speaking because of how wrong it feels. However I still very much love the performance

Love it

I found this book through an FB ad. It's hard to find books about mermaids even though they're so fun. I really enjoyed the book, it was well written and there were some really hilarious parts. I can't wait to learn more about the shadow puppet and see if my suspicions are correct.

Amanda ronconi has definitely improved (at one point I stopped listening to all of Molly Harpers books because she was so awful). Her female voices in this were great though. I liked the male narrator, except for Kai. He sounded like the stereotypical 14 year old nerd and it made all his scenes cringey. I really just can't buy him as a love interest with that voice. I'm bummed the rest of the series isn't on audible, I don't really have time to sit down and read real books anymore. I'll definitely be buying the sequel once it's out!

Great story!
