Whispers of the Bewitched Melody

Following an eerie death, murmurs about a cursed music box and its ominous sway take root. Veiled in layers of ancient tales and mysteries, the music box presents a puzzle: Is it guarding a legacy meant for a destined possessor, or is it merely a facade, diverting attention from a terrestrial secret someone wishes to bury?

As Kacie feels an otherworldly pull towards Patrick, she wrestles with the haunting question: Can ethereal love ever satiate a mortal heart? Or might solace be found in the comforting presence of Warren, the steadfast sheriff grounded in the real world?

The riddle of Kacie's elusive brother persists, compelling her to seek answers from her departed sister, April. Might April's spirit illuminate the shadows that blur Kacie's understanding of truth and illusion?

Navigating a labyrinth of emotion, loyalty, and lineage, Kacie is challenged to unravel the depths of concealed truths. In the midst of it all, she's faced with the heart's most profound riddle: to whom does it genuinely resonate? In this saga of love, treachery, and the paranormal, Kacie's voyage pushes the limits of faith and the essence of true connection.

The story is entertaining and I enjoyed it, but for some reason the virtual narration is worse than I’ve encountered in other books. I have no idea why but it was bad enough to be distracting.
