The futuristic story of Asha Hawkins as the first female to earn the Green Beret in 2025. When Smith Cybernetics Inc. began constructing robots with organic materials nearly identical to a human's, androids begin populating the earth. The only way to save the world from complete Artificial Intelligence assimilation is for the cybergenic enhanced human, Asha to save the human race from mass robotic replication. Internal conflict strikes Asha when she discovers that the surgeons who saved her life and made her what she has become, are working for Smith Cybernetics Inc. and are part of a plot that mass produces androids from replicated human traffick victims. Asha's complex emotional feelings of empathy, loneliness, and love towards the androids is in conflict with her requirement to terminate Smith's operation and the replicants. Asha's intense observations about the nature of life, religion, technology and the human condition culminates with an epic one-on-one battle with another android who she is convinced possesses a human soul.
