Predictable

This book was hardly extreme horror, very predictable and the performance was obnoxious.

Really disappointed.

Confusing

A lot to keep up with in this book. A friend told me it was a lot of “omg” moments. There was none of that.

Child Abuse

I am a fan of extreme horror but not child abuse. The AI reader lacked all emotion and didn't do anything for the story.

Gory & Unbelievably Mad!

It’s hard to find a deranged gory book that isnt mostly about the cops or supernatural crap but this book is TOTALLY different!! I just hope I can find similar out there now that I’ve listened to such a book! It’s really going to have to be one helluva book to follow this one!! I’m also happy it’s NOT about cannibalism either. Writers think gory means one specific plot line typically & that’s one kind I’ve had enough of because no one seems to be able to pull off a realistic fictional absolute INSANE devious pure hell for the victims in so many different ways deranged torturous book other than this one! For them to add the victims as children on top of it all blows your mind that the author actually had the nerve to go there! So many either don’t have the creativity to come up with something so sick or they’re to “politically correct” to go there (and go there they did! In SOOOO many ways! You may even feel nauseous at times!)! One bit of negativity would be that they really didn’t capture the victims pain & anguish. There’s no way a child would have the bones it their legs smashed with a hammer to where they could feel the bones grind together with every move & chunks & strips of skin & muscle filleted off could wake up later from being unconscious from the pain and be able to move around or do anything at all. I don’t know how they SHOULD act but I’m not the writer. I’m the reader than wanted just an inch more & it would’ve been perfect! Way to go author! I didn’t read about them so I don’t know if they are male or female lol. They weren’t part of the plot so it didn’t matter until now to see what other books they’ve authored or co-authored.

not extreme horror

the ai narrator is what it is. I don't care what people think about Ai, it does not compare to a human narrator. story was predictable and boring. not extreme horror at all.
