But when they wake in a blood-soaked dorm with no memory of the night before, fresh tattoos carved into their skin, and a note that reads “24 hours to find the killer, or your parents die,” their easygoing game turns deadly.

As the city closes in, the two friends stumble into a labyrinth of conspiracy and control, where a secret cult called The Veil manipulates memory itself, and every ally might be an actor. With every clue, Jake grows darker, sharper—while Milo, desperate and disoriented, begins to suspect the unthinkable: that his best friend might be orchestrating the nightmare.

Haunted by a woman in red and hunted through the burning streets of Austin, Milo races to unravel a plot that plays like a film directed by a madman. Each flashback pulls him closer to the truth, each betrayal cuts deeper, until reality itself begins to fracture.
