Discover a forbidden love story that defies the boundaries of time and tradition in the untamed American West. Shattered Dreams. A Promise Kept?

1910. Blackfoot, Idaho. Leo, a young man yearning for more than the life laid out for him, finds his world turned upside down by the arrival of Sean, a ruggedly handsome cowboy. Their connection is undeniable, a spark that ignites amidst the frontier's vast landscapes and rugged beauty.

As their bond deepens, Leo and Sean must navigate the challenges of a society that refuses to accept their love. Secrets, prejudice, and the ever-present threat of discovery test their courage and resilience.

When tragedy strikes, Sean extracts a desperate promise from Leo, one that binds him to a woman he doesn't love and a child that will never be his own. Torn between duty and his own desires, can Leo honor his promise to his lost love while staying true to himself?

But love, like the wild spirit of the West, knows no bounds.

Childhood's End is a captivating tale of self-discovery, forbidden desire, and the enduring power of the human heart. Immerse yourself in a historical romance that will transport you to a time of hardship and hope, where love dares to bloom in the most unexpected places.

I totally disliked the virtual voice. The inflections and emotions of the story were totally lost. The virtual voice did not reflect what they should have been for the situation time after time. Totally ruined the experiences of the story by not portraying what should have been the true characteristics of the people because the presentations totally missed the emotions, excitements, inflections as they should have been throughout the story. Totally ruined it for me.

Sadly, the virtual voice stood out the most.
