In these four episodes, the DSI faces a medical mystery behind the discovery of a dumped body, investigates a clever scam and a missing masterpiece, unravels a high-class murder at a glitzy London hotel and heads to a coffee bar where a man lies dead upstairs – but who killed him?

I found this novel delightful. This is a contemporary BBC production of mystery and thrillers. I found the narration in this like an old BBC radio broadcast, and recommend this highly. I hope Nick Fisher comes back and writes some more books.

Just loved it. I enjoyed the characters and the plotted mysteries. Several times stopped and was anxiously awaiting the outcome. I enjoyed the variation, the length of each and the natural maturity that added richness to the stories entirety. Thank you. Good work!
