I thoroughly enjoyed this book, but would’ve never thought I’d be rooting for Lucifer.

Dance with the Devil follows Charlie, who’s rebuilding her life after a near death experience that cost her everything. While trying to regain some semblance of her life, she meets Lucifer in an unexpected way.

This book is filled with just the right amount of drama, mystery and fantasy. Let’s not forget about the spice, those dreams, that mirror scene. Authors you out did yourself with that mirror scene. This book had me laughing out loud, shocked at times and surprisingly rooting for the villain.

The Narrators did a phenomenal job bringing this story to life. The characters were very distinctive from one another. Vin’s voice and portrayal of Lucifer is chef kiss. The comedic timing was spot on. Every emotion and passion was felt through her performance.

I can’t wait to experience the development of these characters and the storyline in the following books of this series.

I love a good hades/Persephone story. While this isn’t the exact same, it entwines a similar story and elements. I love the creative liberties the author took on the story and keeping it in present times, with pop culture references.
I love that the FMC, Charlotte, was not some pushover and all the wild and crazy things that had happened to her slowly unraveled and revealed themselves. Listening to this in tandem was another enjoyable treat! Looking forward to where book two is headed!
Vin did a great job with all her voices! They will linger in my head as I read the next book 😍
