Heart felt memories lovingly revisited.

Listening to this audio book, Danny Bundy and the Search for the Butterfly takes me back to my childhood. I was the same age as Danny Bundy when I attended a one room school house grades one through six. The teachers name was Mrs. Forbes and interestingly enough looked a lot like Danny’s teacher, Ms Grimes. We had a large field in which to play which was circled by a forest with a brook where we watched the tadpoles and frogs and huge lily pads with beautiful flowers. Our adventure was looking for what was slowing down the water flow to our brook which turned out to be a dam built by a family of beavers. It was a “magical’ time in my childhood just like Danny discovered in the forest behind his house. In Danny Bundy and the Search for the Butterfly young and old can imagine the beauty of this childhood.
I recommend this book to anyone who wants to know or re-live a simpler time while learning timeless lessons about the world we live in.
