Barely able to control his shaking hand, Danny Canterbury opened the leather bound book, pressed his pencil against the page, and began to write....

When bookworm Eva Acacia wins a place at Oxford University she discovers friendship and romance. But when she travels round Europe she discovers shades of darkness in her new boyfriend that threaten to overwhelm her conscience and define her destiny.

In the final book of Dominic Jericho’s coming-of-age series Danny’s adventures come to a collapsing end in a way only he can write.

Did the story keep me engaged: reasonably
Was there anything I found annoying: i didn't have the patience for the nonsense ramblings / poetry / prose in this one.
Would I listen to this title again: maybe - if I was in the right head space and up for the challenge.

This is the final book in the Danny Canterbury series (it is Book 7 - at the time of this review, as far as I am aware, there is no book 8). It has a mix of first and third person narratives which I found confusing and had to re-listen to sections, but overall, Danny is all grown up and ready to take on the world, I enjoyed the ride and am happy with it's conclusion.

Cathy Overington did a good job with the undoubtedly challenging narration and added to the audio experience.

Dominic Jerico has talent by the bucket load - I've listened to all 7 books, and they have been entertaining, challenging and definitely thought providing - but at times I found them hard work! 👍👍

this is book 7 and the last of the series

This is another good addition to this series and good to see Danny all grown up. This is definitely a journey and I enjoy it. Cathy Overington did a good job narrating this one.

Last of a good series.
