She can’t stay at Carolina Beach, no matter how much she adores Darren and his daughters. She has responsibilities at home, a mother who needs her. Where there’s love, there’s heartbreak, and she can’t go through that again. And she sure as hell won’t do that to those little girls.

But Darren isn’t letting her go that easily. It’s been so long since he’s felt this way for anyone. Greer is his missing piece, a piece he never thought he’d find.

What a wonderful story!

An AWESOME love story, I really enjoyed listening. Loved story/writing and narration was AWESOME!!!

Darren and Greer make for a complicated but amazing couple!
But LOVE can overcome ALL things!

Just a Sweet Listen

Still reeling from her father's loss and her boyfriend's betrayal, Greer decides to visit her family's beach house to recenter herself. She finally finds happiness watching the family next door, two sweet little girls and their doting father. Darren has his hands full running his business and raising his two girls, but the woman next door intrigues him. But Greer doesn't want to risk giving her heart away, or hurting the little family who has come to mean so much to her.

This was my first listen by this author, and it was really sweet! CA Harms created two lovable and believable leads, set the story in a beautiful location, and capped it all off with two of the sweetest little girls in print. The description of Greer's loss had me tearing up repeatedly in the first chapter, it was so well written. And her relationship with Darren was so natural and lacking in angst. The story switches between Greer and Darren's point of view, which I always prefer. I'd definitely pick up another book by this author.

The narration was well done with different voices for each character, she also performed the little girls' voices in an easy way. It pulled me right into the story and kept me listening. I requested a copy of the audiobook, and I'm voluntarily leaving a review.

Sweet ♥️ love story about two people harboring aching hearts that find their souls were a perfect match. There is no real angst or mystery to solve, just 2 people working out how to start over and to learning to trust again.

Lillian Yves has entertained me before and as before, she’s proven to be an excellent narrator. 👏🏻

Great Story!

C.A. Harms is a new to me author, and I am greatly impressed. I was immediately pulled into the story of Greer and Darren. I loved how something wonderful evolved out of heartache and heartbreak. This book features 2 hurt people who find something special when they were not looking. The story is beautifully written and has humor, hope, heartbreak, happiness, love, and understanding. I thought the narrator Lillian Yves did a great performance with her expressions. She conveyed realistic attitudes and feelings. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review.
