GRIPPING, SUSPENSEFUL NOVEL

I absolutely loved this debut book by Molly Macabre and hope to read/listen to more by her! A deep, frightening, yet at times light-hearted novel about so much more than a zombie apocalypse. There's a little humor, a little romance, some strange people, lots of action, some mental health issues, and lovable characters Nick and Kate who come into this story with a ton of emotional baggage. Oh yeah, and there's the zombies. This riveting book kept me entertained while driving, and then while sitting in my driveway because I needed to find out what happens next! The narrator is excellent, with different voices for each character, yet in his own voice, if that makes sense. The voices are not exaggerated, yet I could easily distinguish between them. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I am not normally an apocalypse fan, but even though that is the main point of the book, it is not the main focus. I loved it, you will too.

Great book

solid story interesting characters kept me engrossed from beginning to end. Joe James crushed the narration and the authors writing painted a vivid picture of the scenes as they unfold...highly recommend

There is hope in the darkness.

A good zombie romp mixed with a tender romance.

I went thru so many emotions listening to this book. Highly Recommend this book. I grew to love the main characters and their story.
