Started strong, ended weak

Very unsophisticated, plot was far fetched, things that were stressed became no big deal in the story and at the end it resolved very quickly. It started strong and continually got weaker… like the author ran out of ideas or got bored or hurried to finish. I’ll likely not read others by this author
