I am a big fan of romantic suspense and Toni Anderson is a star in this genre!

"Cowards That Tortured Themselves"

Would you listen to Dark Waters again? Why?

No, this was a good, fast pace story, but a weak heroine that discovers inner strength does not appeal to me when it takes 6 hrs for her to discover it!. If you like this type of story, then this is a good one. Good dialogue, but way too much inner self talk.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes, as it took 6.5 hrs to figure out the real culprit.

What about Emily Beresford’s performance did you like?

Good new reader for me. This book was on sale and it was a good spend. This had fire and rage.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Some of actions from the females just got on my nerves. A lot way too late!

this had some strong violence against woman so beware

Gripping

An intense suspenseful can't atop reading or listening to novel. Full of injustice, deceit and redemption. A romance thst endures above all idds.

Can’t read them fast enough

I recently found this author and I can’t read or listen to her books fast enough. This one has several miscarriages of justice, twists you don’t see coming, and if not redemption, dealing with the past.

Really enjoyed this book. I definitely want to read more by this author. The narrator did a good job too of distinguishing between characters
