Great storytelling continued in this sequel!

Dark Wings Daring picks up right where Dark Wings Rising ends. Mr. Cassady continues his great storytelling right on through this sequel. Here, the author introduces other relatives of the protagonist and builds out a theme of the security of family in the face of adversity. The author also continues the fantastical component of the original story through the subplot that includes several helpful birds. Nice, easy listen - I appreciated the baritone voice of the narrator - Veralt of the Glen.
