Why does Eli sound like a 40 year smoker?

I love this story and have read the book multiple times. But man was it hard to get past the fact that Eli sounds like a 40 year old smoker/mob boss when he’s supposed to be a 20 year old bad boy.

Amazing!

One of the best graphic audio books I've listened too. Can't wait for the next instalment.

Intriguing and Mysterious

Narrators were top notch. Story was intriguing enough to keep me listening, without be too predictable. 1.5 🌶️

Literally a movie in my mind!

I never knew I wanted a graphic audio version of a book that I've loved until I brought the Darkness of Light and now I'm obsessed!
To be honest, I have a sentimental attachment to this book and holds a very special place in my heart. Back in old 2013 when I decided to download the kindle app and give it a try at e-books - mind you e-books wasn't a thing in Greece where I live- Darkness of Light was the very first I've ever purchased and absolutely loved it. When the audiobook version got released I downloaded audible and purchased that as well.
This particular graphic audio version of the book however blew my mind. It's phenomenal! The narration, the dramatization, the sfx, the casting, it's literally as the graphic audio intro states, a movie in your mind.
I truly hope all of the four books in the Darkness series to be turned into a graphic audiobook and of course because I got greedy, I'm crossing my fingers for the Collectors and Lightness series to be released as graphic audio as well, I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

I love this book series I bought all the original audiobooks but needed the graphic audio. My only thing is that ELIs voice is so wrong for him its upsetting. He sounds like an old man that smokes a 9 packs of cigarettes a day ...
