The tips are good in Hell. The hours are brutal. And the clientele is . . . interesting.

Every night, I cross the Barrier to the demon realm to sling drinks at Hell on Earth, a bar on the edge of Darktown. I've always been fascinated by demons. It's a fascination I've never quite learned to control, and it just might get me killed.

One fateful night, a darkly handsome, not-quite-human patron grabs my arm, leaving a magical mark burnt into my skin. Determined to find out what the mark means, I do the unthinkable: I venture alone into the demon realm. What I discover is terrifying.

Things are changing in Darktown. The ancient enchantment that maintains the Barrier between worlds is failing. Demons are breaking into the human realm, ready to kill. And I just might hold the key to restoring the Barrier.

Four sexy Darktown residents are magically bound to protect me. But can my dark protectors keep me safe for long enough that I can uncover my true destiny?

Contains mature themes.

Great story- I’m a trucker and I listen to audiobooks while driving and this book made me feel like I was actually seeing it in my mind’s eye- can’t wait for next book-thank you

Outstanding story

Great world building but this is one of those heroines who doesn’t do the logical next step, she does what moves the plot forward, and comes across to the reader as a liability for the male character(s) who try to keep her safe. Women are not this dumb!
Also, the protagonists’ chemistry felt more obligatory than toe-curling deliciously hot. Womp-womp.
Great narration. Just not my cup of tea (which I like a little warmer.)

More action than romance

I really liked the pace of the story and the character interactions. while our fmc is in need of the guys to help her she's no simpering damsel either.

keeps you interested !

I call this a trope salad. The author, if it isn’t AI, uses tropes from every other popular romantasy book and tries to meld it together. It usually ends up poorly. Much like in this case. The voice acting was good and usually is in books like this but it can’t save a turd

Probably AI
