Murder in Hilden Heights?

Was Hattie Baker the victim of a serial killer?

On a balmy, late summer morning in Hilden Heights, Hattie Baker is found dead in her pool, and she wasn’t the first. A socialite and successful business owner, Hattie was an excellent swimmer. Even so, her death was ruled an accident. Her boyfriend, Mason Willis, however, doesn’t believe it was an accident. He thinks she was murdered and goes to Harry Starke for help. Thus begins an investigation that almost costs Harry his life.

Can Harry find the killer before they strike again?

Unfortunately for me the narrators voice grated on me. First time I’ve listened to a Harry Stark and his voice didn’t fit my narrative

I have heard all of the Harry Starke novels. It took me a while to get used to the voice of Tom Lennon as the voice of dashing leading man. To me, he sounded more like the elderly colonel on the old Phil Silvers' show, "You'll Never Get Rich." Initially, I thought the books were second-rate, but I continued listening anyway because there were three books in every selection on Audible, so they were very cheap. Eventually, I began to enjoy the books because of my familiarity with the characters, and so I began to periodically purchase another book in the series, just to touch base with the characters.
I still cringe listening to the description of the corny relationship between Harry and his wife, Amanda. It gets sickening after a while.
This selection was totally boring. No action, with nothing ever really happening except for Harry getting badly beaten. The entire book is devoted to the investigation of the death of a women found floating in a pool in in her house in the neighborhood called "The Heights," a very wealthy community in Tennessee.
Best to skip this one, it's a waste of time.
