It was good but it was very predictable. I still look forward to more world building.

Whale watching will never seem the same!

Fantastic.
Very few books have ever made me weep.

But the chorus of men upon the Waveblade holding true to their promise to repay the orcas for their help was so moving. I won’t spoil it for anyone …. All I will say is that I am glad I was listening to this as an audiobook. It brought me to tears for a good 15 minutes.

I had to stop listening and gather my wits before I could continue again. Beautiful writing, moving and certainly like nothing I have ever read before in a epic fantasy.

Absolutely amazing!

Starting listening to these during work and I am hooked! I’ve never been a book person since I have a hard time focusing and staying involved in the story, but these are so immersive with a wide storyline and diverse characters. They genuinely change my emotions with the events in the story. This book series is so underrated and under appreciated, it’d be incredible to see this story on the big screen one day! 10/10 give it a read or listen !

I loved this series and can not wait for it to continue. It has amazing, relatable characters and a story line that keeps you hooked from book 1 until the end. I cannot wait to see what Farden does in this next book..
