We join Abigail Stewart half a year after The Winter of Red Snow ended, in January of 1779. Her father has enlisted in the Continental Army, and when a devastating fire destroys Abby’s home, she, her mother, and siblings must make their way to Philadelphia, then on to the Continental Army camp to be near Abby’s father. The winters are brutally cold, food is scarce, and the anguish of war is ever present. But not all is desperate. Abby meets many new friends, including a young soldier named Willie Campbell. As romance blooms, Abby wonders if the war will ever end.

Almost Cried

Abigail and Willie's relationship throughout the whole book is just so sweet! even through the hard trials and all things going on, they had a selfless love for each other!

This is the second time I've read this and it's still so good
This book was not the most exciting book for people that like action
This book is recommended for people who like historical fiction

I really injoyed this book. It is the 2nt book of miss Abby and I think it sounds better if you read the first book before this one

A favorite since childhood💖💖💖 adored the first, and love the follow up sequel to Abigail's story.
