This book was full of excitement, twists, and turns. I was so disappointed when and how it ended.

Chapter after chapter, I simply couldn’t turn it off. Excellent writer. I was constantly surprised by the direction the story took.

Definitely a wonderful read, I am always looking for stories like this! The only thing that I was kinda disappointed in was how it ended, I wish there was a more certain conclusion, but don’t let that from you from listening to this book!

This was a wonderful book. It's main characters are soldiers during WWII, just on opposite sides. This book to me is all about finding love where you least expect it and how we should always forgive others because that is what God does for us. Highly recommended

excellent

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I'd change the ending! I felt cheated - it was way too abrupt. The ending of the war and the time after were condensed down to the point I kept thinking I'd missed something and really, that could have been so interesting.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The most interesting was her time in the woods - especially in the Belgian house and when they ran into the soldiers in the jeep. The least interesting was her relationship with the obnoxious army doctor.

Which scene was your favorite?

I liked the scene when Mouse wheeled the P.O.W. into the Christmas party, but I wish it had been expanded on.

A little disappointing but not bad
