She packs up her dog, Shelby, and spends her break investigating the kidnapping. In Gainsville she meets Sheriff Tom Owens. Liza feels an instant physical attraction to him. Nevertheless, she ignores his warnings and delves further into the kidnapping. As she explores the crime, she encounters a bizarre, mysterious clown school that specializes in mind-control, drugs, and pornography. There is nothing funny about these clowns when Liza's investigation begins to turn deadly.

What would have made Death Is Clowning Around better?

If the story didn't consistently have to tell you the woman was a teacher. Honestly, how often did she say "I'm a teacher" I was about to trash the book do many times as she got on my nerves! Didn't the author figure the WE could retain that information after two chapters of "I'm a teacher" and it ended the same way aaarrrggghhh!

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Made her something but a teacher, I guess if she was a bank teller she would have made us sick of that

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Cathryn Lyons?

I don't think the narration was the problem, but it sounded like she was talking into a tin can, worst audio I've heard to date
