Death's Silent Judgement is the thrilling sequel to Dancers in the Wind and continues the gripping series starring London-based investigative journalist Hannah Weybridge.

Following the deadly events of Dancers in the Wind, freelance journalist and single mother Hannah Weybridge is thrown into the heart of a horrific murder investigation when a friend, Liz Rayman, is found with her throat slashed at her dental practice.

With few clues to the apparently motiveless crime, Hannah throws herself into discovering the reason for her friend's brutal murder and is determined to unmask the killer. But before long Hannah's investigations place her in mortal danger, her hunt for the truth placing her in the path of a remorseless killer....

I love this author and really liked the story, but I didn’t care for the political (woke agenda as it would be known as) interjections. I’d prefer reading (listening) to stories free from social agendas.

Good story; overall good performance. MANY editing errors where lines are repeated, read with different intonations. The editors likely rushed through and did not delete the marked passages. Anyway, still a good story although I wouldn’t have been pleased if it hadn’t been a free selection. Quality control matters!

Sloppy editing

loved the 2nd book as much as the 1st. Hannah is a crafty and smart woman.

such a soothing voice

The narrator saves this one. I didn't get as deeply into the story as I did her first in the series. Sideline: I was amused by the little editing gaffes when the narrator repeated a sentence that she hadn't spoken in the way she wanted to... shines a light on the narration process.

Better for the narration

This is the second and probably last book I read from this series . The story is well developed but, again, like in the other book, way too often the main character is either on the verge of throwing up or is actually doing that which becomes a bit ridiculous.

Well written
