Flick is a regular guy, living a regular life - then the night of Thanksgiving came. It all started with a conversation he had with his cousin Bru that got a little heated. Tensions rose, but things calmed down when he went to his mother’s house for the family dinner.

Little did he know, that’s when his life would begin to shift in a direction that he never expected. December 21st, Saturn and Jupiter aligning, competing belief systems…what did it all mean?

Nothing, Flick thought, until the first event. Then the second.

Follow Flick’s journey in this urban supernatural suspense novel as he tries to figure out exactly what’s going on. Is he losing his mind? Or does everything that is happening have a deeper meaning?

This book was good. It had a good mystery to it and I like the meaning behind the whole storyline.
It was amazing because it made you think.

Really identifying with the curious in CHRIST. This was very thought provoking and worthy of being shared with those whom have not been introduced to JESUS.

Beautifully done!!!

For a short suspense novelette, it was written nicely. It made you think about some things. This is more for religious folk or people who think outside the box though. Some people might not be as interested. It was good though.

Very well thought out story

December 21st offers an interesting take on the urban supernatural genre. The story begins with a relatable family conflict but quickly shifts into mysterious territory as strange events start to unfold in Flick’s life. The writing keeps you guessing about what is real and what might be in Flick’s head, especially as big themes like astrology and belief systems come into play. While some parts could use more depth, the suspense is maintained throughout, and Flick’s confusion is easy to empathize with. Overall, it’s an okay read for anyone who enjoys supernatural suspense with a grounded, everyday protagonist.

I feel like this book was lacking something but I am not quite sure what that something is. I didn't think it felt complete.

Not for me
