LOVED THIS BOOK AND THE SERIES. ANGIE, IAN, FELICIA, HOLLY, SO MANY GREAT CHARACTERS, AND POSSIBLY AN ADDITION TO THIS CAST. I JUST HATE THAT I MUST WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK, ESPECIALLY AFTER THAT CLIFFHANGER. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK (BUT START WITH BOOK 1, IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE SERIES).

WORTH THE WAIT

Great cozy mystery. Both the author Lyn Cahoon and the narrator Susan Boyce kept me invested from the first chapter. With a number of twists and turns and a result I didn’t see coming, I was hooked.

The characters are easy to relate to and you quickly become invested in their story. Cannot wait to read and or listen to more from this author.

Entertaining cozy mystery

This was enjoyable and filled with several twists and turns. The narrator improved from last time, making it easier to differentiate between characters. While enjoyable, I sometimes felt as though the main character was rather selfish or missing the point but she and several of the other secondary protagonists grew. Though the reasonings for the murders didn't make much sense or I must have missed it.

Corn dogs, runaways and cooking contests!

Real kept me guessing, looking forward to reading the next book. The narrator is really easy to listen to.

Really enjoyed this series so far

I enjoyed listening to the story but still have problems with Ian’s voice. At some parts of the story I got confused as to who was speaking because Ian’s voice sounded like a woman’s and I wondered who entered the story. Couldn’t the narrator make an asserted effort in lowering her voice or something to at least try to indicate a male is speaking? It does distract from the story when there is no differentiation in the voices between a woman and Ian and there happens to be a lot of dialogue. The ending was also left in the air. A bit disturbing. I prefer stories to be self-contained. That way I can listen to the stories out of order and still have a sense of completion.
