The middle of the Pacific Ocean is a lonely place. For the crew of the mega-container ship Orion Maw, it's a world of heat, boredom, and the endless blue horizon. But when a mysterious, unmarked container is pulled from the depths, their monotonous voyage takes a dark turn.

Inside is a relic from a forgotten age, an idol that hums with a malevolent energy.

Soon, the ship itself begins to turn on them. The laws of physics fray and then shatter. Hallways lead to nowhere, the hum of the engines becomes a predatory growl, and the vessel begins to whisper lies in the minds of the crew, preying on their deepest fears and regrets. Trapped miles from shore on a floating prison that is actively trying to kill them, the crew must fight for their sanity and their lives against a horror that has slept for eons in the crushing dark. Can they escape the ship, or will they become another forgotten story, lost to the abyss?
