the reader was the perfect voice. the author combines raw honesty and lyrical language for an immersive experience of Alaska, anger, love, partnering, parenting and everything in between.

The descriptions of scenery

The narrator’s voice became almost a whisper at tomes which made it not only annoying, but difficult to hear!

I had a hard time getting thru the first section. It was too much detail and really not enjoyable. I almost quit listening

I would not recommend this book even though I’ve often enjoyed the narrator for other books. It was the story that I felt was lacking
