Great Story

Loved the story and development of characters. The narrator was not my favorite, but she was good enough to get me through the story.

Expressive Narrator, Exceptional Story!

This story is a top-notch fantasy adventure, among the likes of Garth Nix and Brandon Sanderson! The narrator was an engaging reader. My only minor qualms with the performance were occasionally not being sure which character was speaking because of similar voices, and the rare mispronounced word. Notwithstanding, these were minor distractions. The story was excellently portrayed overall and I was immersed in the incredible world Olsen has created!

Fantastic! Well Crafted Story

I grew to love and care about Alskan as she made it through her journey. The story was so well crafted I audibly gasped at multiple points in the story because I was so drawn in. I highly recommend, I wouldn't listen to it with young kids are in the car though, there is drug usage. Great story!

Fantastic Book

This book is amazing, it is one of my absolute favorites! This was my 3rd time through and it still moved me.

I struggled with the readers voice at first, it just didn’t seem to fit the characters to me. However I turned the speed up a notch and it seemed to smooth things out and I was able to enjoy my favorite book. The author is able to achieve so much in the book. The dragons are so interesting to me, I just love how it all comes together. The concept is brilliant. Highly recommended.

Loved the dragons.

This is such a great book. I love that it had all of the normal elements like dragons and kings and servants but it was all imagined in a new creative way. I love how the dragons were portrayed and the powers they had. I can’t wait for a sequel.
