I absolutely love this book.

Defiance is a beautifully told story of Syria’s struggles under the regime and ISIS. It’s so gripping and moving that I couldn’t put the book down, and I truly love the writer for sharing such a brave and unforgettable story.

Engaging story and well read

I believe the author reads her own book for this one, and she does an excellent job. Her story is touching, engaging, and pretty amazing. It works very well as an audiobook. Highly recommended.

How brutally honest the author is… much needed in this day and time.

It was difficult to listen to the many traumas endured by author and her country.
