Seth Paulson had been tormented by visions of Wren Winters ever since she was taken from him. Every day without her was a battle against the dark forces threatening to consume him. Haunted by the possibility of what Sirus, the ancient necromancer, could be doing to her, Seth knew he had to find Wren before it was too late. His every effort to reach out to her through their magical bond pushed him to the brink, but he refused to let go.

Wren, meanwhile, fought her own war from within the confines of her prison. With her magic dampened and Sirus pushing her closer to the edge, Wren struggled to hold onto the light. The dark power in her veins, a twisted gift from her ancestor, sought to break free. But Seth’s presence, his magic, was the one thing she could still feel, a lifeline in the growing darkness.

As they each waged their separate battles, the bond between them grew stronger, pulling them towards a final confrontation. Could Seth find Wren in time to save her, or would the darkness claim her first?
