Entire towns destroyed. Massive cities underwater. A family desperate to find each other.
Two days after a megaquake and tsunami combine to wreak havoc on the Pacific Northwest, Clint and his daughter are together at last. Instead of retreating to safety, they're on a one-way mission into the heart of the disaster. Chaos on the streets, impassable routes, and the worst of human nature combine to thwart them at every turn. But Mika's mom is missing, and they won't stop until they find her.
Daphne stares out at the water engulfing the financial district, body shivering from the cold, stomach hollow from thirst and hunger. With no food or shelter, she's forced to attempt an escape. She might drown before she even leaves the parking deck, but she doesn't have a choice. This time, the only way out is through.
Deluge is book two in the Fault Lines series, an apocalyptic disaster thriller series following ordinary people struggling to survive when a megaquake plunges the Pacific Northwest into chaos.

Great book

I don't know if it's a SPOILER, BUT. The downfall is the unusual cadence of Mika, a character when she speaks, every sentence, she enunciates the last letter of the last worD. It's maddening.
She is not the whole thankfully, because I really like the story. Maybe she'll die tragically, things will go wrong in the apocalypse.
A Gripping Tale of teotwawki

🎧 The two female narrators are great. The male narrator leaves something to be desired. He sounds robotic which is off-putting.
