This book helps you dig deep into the democratic party and their principals, how they formed, what they stand for, and how they've become today. It doesn't matter who you support. Even you are on the other side, it's always good to know all the players on the table I think. As ancient chinese wisdom has it that, it's not wise to listen to just one side of the story. you need both sides of the story to know the full picture. something like that. i really enjoyed listening to this book.

I really enjoyed this book, it breaks down the history of democracy in a way that feels easy to follow and not dry at all. It starts with the ancient Greeks and Romans and then connects those ideas to how governments work today, which actually made me think about current events a little differently.
