Even demons get bored...

Luke is a poor grad student, desperate for a cheap place to live.

Desperate enough even to live in a house full of demons.

(Anything is better than his last roommate.)

When the demons find it's nearly impossible to scare Luke away, they decide on a new plan to amuse themselves.

They're going to help Luke with his love life.

Can they really aid Luke's efforts to catch his college crush? Or are they headed for a disaster that neither heaven nor hell can fix?

Demon Dating Service is a fluffy, chaotic standalone novel about a sweet guy making friends with the misfits of the demon world, trying to survive grad school, and snagging the hottest guy on campus.

I enjoyed the story, but didn't find it as overall funny as other readers seem to. the premise is a bit unique, and I like the found family dynamic.

The main character's hatred of cats is unpleasant and weird coming from a character who is an animal lover. The little dig right at the end about tormenting cats with spicy food was also a pretty unnecessary note to end on. As an animal lover myself, these things pretty much ruined the experience for me.

Story is fun, cat hating is weird.

cute and unique story fine. a college student, a bunch of misfit demons equals mayhem and love mishaps.
The narration was o.k. it was too intense forr the light storyline. He wasn't bad, but would be best for a more intense story. This particular book would have been best narrated by someone like Greg Tremblay. The narrator did a
decent job, don't get me wrong, just too intense for this story.
Love the misfit Demons!

very Cute

Story was entertaining and I liked getting to know the demons through their POVs, that was a lot of fun. Also, the whole found family of demons plot point hasn't been done like this so it was cute to see the guys worry about "their human" when it came to getting bullied on campus or crushing on a human. I liked how the story went from demons being demons to demons being besties. It was funny at times and overall enjoyable.

Listen, I LOVE Darcy Stark and have almost 2 dozen audiobooks in my library performed by him. He's magic. But his voice for the human love interest was not what I expected. I know Darcy can do a great Spanish accent so I'm a bit confused as to why Matteo is Italian and not Latino since I didn't hear it specifically indicated in the text but oh well. Overall, a fantastic performance - Matteo is only a fraction of the dialogue so no big deal.

Fun story, almost perfect narration

I really liked the novel but wow this audio with Darcy Starks fantastic narration absolutely brought it to a whole new level! Would love for there to be more Luke and Mateo adventures in the future, i will definitely be relistening to this many times and I highly recommend!
