Unique

Look this wasn’t typical for me to listen to and the AI was okay. The story was super unique and worth a listen. It was short enough and well written enough to capture my attention. Also I like the unique couple in the story.

This was a very good audiobook. I really quite enjoyed it and I was surprised, but just how captivated it was. I did enjoy the narration.

A Fast-Paced Teaser with Great Potential

Desiring My Husband by A. J. Deville is a quick, high-stakes listen that moves at a breakneck pace. The story follows newlyweds Courtney and Jack as they balance their new marriage with the demands of the family business. However, drama ensues when Reese—the sister’s boyfriend—attempts a hostile takeover. Reese’s schemes even involve Courtney’s best friend, whom he flies in on a private plane as a tactical charm offensive.
​While the plot is engaging, the short format relies heavily on "telling" rather than "showing." The story is solid, but it feels like it’s missing the depth that a longer runtime would provide. I truly hope this serves as a prequel to a new series; I’d love to see these characters and their conflicts explored in greater detail.

Jack Porter, the former Air Force pilot and head of security steps in to enter a marriage of convenience with her that will turn into so much more. A great story that is well written with a very good storyline and a satisfying, happy ending. I enjoyed listening to Louise Cooksey's voice replica narrate the story.

Riddled with Errors

I really shouldn't have spent 3 days on a recorded book that is less than 3 hours, but I tried to figure out why there was such a lack of coherence to the story.

After listening to this version multiple times and reading through the ebook version, I can fully understand why there were such errors in the AI narration.

By not adhering to the rules for writing when it comes to Mr., Mrs., Ms, and Miss, AI assumed Miss. was an abbreviation for Mississippi. It was,baffling hearing Mississippi Ling instead of Miss Ling.

The author apparently could keep track that Jack Porter was the main male character at some point referring to him as Mr. Slater instead.

I just can't justify urging others to spend money on this book or audio when there other much better written books out there to enjoy.
Author never returned messages sent through Booksprout indicating to me they have no desire to correct issues or of the quality of work produced.
