Loved Sammy and Aella. Great narrator’s kept me enthralled in the story. There’s intrigue, danger and it’s action packed and steamy. Loved it

This well narrated book has 2 voice performers that make the male and female characters pop out. This Book 4 in A Mergers & Acquisitions Book Series has an intriguing romance story, well-crafted/interconnected world, and intense characters. These characters have amazing personalities, interconnected but complicated histories and believable interactions. They grew up in a world where they were treated as family, but were not related by blood. He has always looked out for her best interests and she has had a lifelong crush on him. He leaves to let her find her place in the world as he protects the world as a soldier. When he leaves the service, his generation of the family/friends celebrate her graduation in Vegas. They are both about to get their desires fulfilled, they will get each other, but it will not be smooth sailing in their future. They will face family interference, betrayal, kidnapping, danger, twists, turns, doubts, insecurities, strength, passion, and love. A must read book and series.

This book was my favorite so far in this series, and let me say, though I do enjoy them all.
Intense is one word.
Action is two words.
HOT is three words.

Aella has wanted Sammy, and he feels the same way, but he has to bide his time.
Now all bets are off…well, aside from her father.
Well, hang on because this story takes you on a whirlwind.

The narrators do a great job in bringing this story and its characters to life. It's like you are right there with them.

A great audiobook to listen to.

C.D.Gorri writes swoon worthy, morally gray heroes who are obsessed with smart, sassy, curvy women. Elle Sonali and Mick Fanning narrates this audiobook. I love listening to them as they bring these characters to life through their narration.

Great story

This story had me hooked from the start. It's a mixture of love, possessiveness and a little danger. The dual narration is wonderful. A great addition to the series.
