A sidekick whose really the hero

This book is like a comic book in novel form. it's phenomenal, funny, and it feels real. The main character is comical and feels like the typical comic book sidekick who is given the authority and destiny of the hero and it makes it far better. It has the loving tropes you want, and the uniqueness to make it beautiful and new. I can't wait to see what's next!
