Für Pieps, die kleine Siebenschläferin, kommt in die Vorschule. Gleich am ersten Schultag besuchen alle Kinder Kommissar Gordons Polizeistation. Doch Pieps ist noch sehr klein. Außer "Bladi" oder "Bladi bladi" spricht sie kein Wort und über den Tisch gucken kann sie auch noch nicht. Pieps fühlt sich überhaupt nicht wohl - und ist auf einmal weg. Aber Kommissar Gordon und Kommissarin Buffy werden sie bestimmt finden! Gleichzeitig machen sich auch drei Kinder im Wald auf die Suche nach ihr. Wie die ausgeht (nämlich gut!) und wie es Pieps gelingt, dabei sogar selbst zur Polizistin zu werden, erzählt Ulf Nilsson auf seine unnachahmliche Weise.
