Es war einmal ein Igel, der hatte seine Wohnung in einem hohlen Baumstamm an einem grünen Tümpel und hieß Schnäuzchen Piekenknäul. Es war ein schöner Sommermorgen, und Schnäuzchen Piekenknäul saß vor seiner Behausung, trank seinen Eichelkaffee und las die Wald- und Wiesenzeitung. Im Tümpel plätscherte ein kleiner grüner Frosch mit Namen Quellauge und quakte.
