Auf der Petersstirn ist schon oftmals eine Schlange erblickt worden, die auf ihrem Haupt ein goldenes Krönlein trägt. – Einst ging ein Weinbauer den Berg hinauf, wo noch die wenigen Mauernreste des alten Klosters liegen; da rauschte mit raschem Ringeln ihm eine große und glänzende Schlange entgegen, die auf dem Haupt eine goldene Krone und im Maul ein großes Bund Schlüssel, die wie Silber glitzerten und klingelten, trug.
