The story follows the usual paranormal pattern of normal gut finds out he isn’t normal and the world isn’t what he thought. I could easily overlook that as I enjoy those kinds of stories but Jeffrey Kafer was the exact wrong choice of narrator. I don’t agree with other reviews that suggested he was a bad narrator. But in a story like this where multiple characters have varied accents and genders, he just doesn’t do it justice. Not every sentence needs to be pronounced like a death sentence.

Formulaic, wrong choice for narrator

There isn’t more to say other then it’s good or enjoyable whatever you want to say decent story and i have always enjoyed keffer as a narrator… not really sure about the guy who said he is bad …. I want to hear the guy who gave a bad review narrate a book first …

It’s good

I'm not to big into the modern fantasy stuff, but I actually did enjoy the book.

it surprised me

I swear that the bad guy has so much plot armor that it makes me sick. I can not stand the fact that DL lets him get away so many times it pisses me off.
