The audio is better than the illustrations

I had this book on cassette when I was a kid. My 3 year old recently developed a fiery passion for dinosaurs, so I repurchased the book and audio to read with him.

Considering its production in the mid 80s, the audio performance is good, if a touch dated. The scientific information on dinosaurs has also changed since this was produced.

However, I still feel this is worthwhile for me and my son. A great way to spend a few minutes together.

Wonderful Nostalgia

Great memories of listening to this 30 years ago. Got it for my kids to listen to now.
