Great story with amazing narration

This is the second book in the Heartwood Lake Series. Claudia brings us a beautiful, fun story with amazing characters, banter and love.

Sutton town librarian who is dealing with a family that is not very kind to her. She’s an amazing and hardworking young woman who gets the courage tot are charge and find a fake finance. What she does t anticipate is developing feelings and falling in love with his amazing family.

River and his family are in town - in hiding - as there is a killer out there that would be after them. He is a known playboy but Sutton is willing to look past that to get what she needs from him. He also does not expect to get feelings but he does.

The banter, dialogue, text messages are fantastic and will make you laugh. There are also very tender and sweet moments that will make you swoon and fall more in love with these characters. The Kerahaw family is amazing, caring and delightful…just what Sutton needs.

Aaron Shedlock and Stephane Nemeth-Parking gave a phenomenal performance! They gave perfect voice, personality and emotion to each of the characters. I love how narrators being a whole new experience to enjoying an authors words. Well done!!

Fake becomes real

This is book two in the Heartwood Lake Secret Billionaires. This is a story of needing a fake fiance because of your family and that the fake becomes real. Sutton and River are total opposites but the heat is real and their banter back and forth is such a great buildup. I love how even though they are opposites, they find they have more in common than they thought. I enjoyed them.

Aaron Shedlock and Stephanie Nemeth-Parker narrate this book and both do a great job.

A great addition to the series

River and Sutton are pretty different, but they find opposites attract in this small town, fake relationship story.

When Sutton is tired of being mistreated and looked down on by her family. When she asks River to be her fake fiance, it isn't long before real feelings become involved. It was interesting seeing their relationship develop, and the narrators did an excellent job bringing the characters to life. This is a great addition to the series.

Enjoyed River and Sutton's romance!

Dirty Secret Love was a fun and steamy fake-to-forever romance that I devoured in one sitting. Stephanie Nemeth-Parker and Aaron Shedlock perform this audiobook in dual narration and both fully embody their characters. Stephanie portrayed Sutton's vulnerabilities and passions perfectly while Aaron portrayed River's heated desires and eventual devotion to Sutton. Both brought the heart and the heat with River and Sutton's undeniable chemistry. I enjoyed this audiobook, and always look forward to more from Claudia Burgoa.

Fabulous Story & Listen🎧 Delightfully Entertainin

It is great to be back in Heartland Lake for another fabulous novel and it was just as amazing as the first and not to be missed book, “A Place Like You”. This second book is Sutton and River’s story, and the story not only captivated my attention the entire time, but it tugged at my heartstrings too. Sutton is the town’s librarian, and she built a good life in Heartwood Lake, made forever friends and kept away from her demanding and always criticizing mother. River is a Kershaw, formally known as Thorndale, who, along with his entire family, is in witness protection and hiding out in Heartland Lake, until it is safe to return to his life. It is Finnegan Gill who is running the protection program there and l am loving how he is keeping these billionaires humbled and on their toes. When Sutton finds out her parents are coming to Heartwood Lake to stay, she needs to do something to help keep her off her back, that something was to get a fake fiancé and her friends suggest one of the Kershaws. River came into the library wanting books and she took that opportunity to ask him, but he was going to say no, but was on board after seeing how her mother treated her. I loved how everything played out in this book, and it was great to watch these two get to know each other, share their secrets, and what secrets they were. The chemistry between them was electric, and inevitably, their fake relationship would morph into something more, something real. As always, the writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. The story has the perfect balance of drama, charming humor, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Claudia Burgoa, thank you for another wonderful story and emotional roller coaster ride. 

🎧📚🎧 Aaron Shedlock and Stephanie Németh-Parker are wonderfully talented voice artists and they did an amazing job bringing these characters and story to life. Both Sherlock’s and Németh-Parker’s portrayal of the characters was spot on, grasping every aspect of their characters’ personality, and performing the roles with perfection. They set the right tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their performance elevates the already amazing story to another level. Thank you for another fabulous listen.
