Penny is sent to a remote Scottish Island, under the Witness protection program.
She only has minutes to pack, and no family or friends are to be contacted. There is only one man on the island who knows her story, an old man called Alec. He introduces Penny to some of the locals, one, in particular, catches her eye, Ethan Mackenzie, a policeman. He is tall dark and handsome and Penny starts to fall for him. Though Penny makes a shocking discovery which will change everything.
