An enemies-to-lovers rom-com filled with laughter, chaos, and love in a cozy café setting

Sometimes the changes we resist lead us exactly where we need to be.

Beloved café manager Gemma has everything under control until the new owner, Kent, arrives with a flurry of modern ideas threatening to change the heart and soul of their cherished community hub.

Forced to work side by side in the small kitchen, sparks fly as Gemma and Kent clash over the café's future. Before long, their heated arguments start serving up something sweeter, and Gemma begins to see a different side to the ambitious new interloper.

But as their workplace relationship blossoms, will Kent's true plans threaten to spoil everything before they get to dessert?

A lighthearted tale filled with humour and warmth that is perfect for listeners who love:

Gemma’s first interaction with Kent isn’t a good one and from then on it only gets worse.
Having to work together certainly makes it hard.
After one too many arguments the full truth is divulged and Gemma is devastated.
Will this be where her whole life upends or can she turn this around and make it work for her too?
Can Kent show Gemma that the feelings he has for her are much more than work colleagues?
I absolutely loved this story, the main characters were perfectly imperfect plus it was great to have the book club characters from previous books appear as well.
I listened to the audiobook and really enjoyed the narration by Alice Sockett.
It was a pleasant listening experience.
