Mafia madness

Great characters and a happy ending. Can’t go wrong with that! I plan to read the other books in the series. Out of order but intrigued enough to do that.

Storyline and narrators

This series definitely delivered!! I cried so hard at the strangle episode in the dungeon at the end. I won't say what happened and spoil the ending. I really hope there is a new series with the children of the 5 families. I am addicted now to this genre of books

Great Read

Dissolution (Eagle Elite #12) was another great read by Rachel Van Dyken.For the last ten years, the Cosa Nostra has ruled Chicago with an iron fist. Santino Sinacore is about to be the one to bring them down. He has one more job where he must save the boss' brother and sister. He is the Grim Reaper of the Sicilian mafia. I enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.

This series is a 1000% yes for me. So worth the money and so good you will want to listen to it over and over again.

Santino is a cold-blooded Assassin for the Italian Mafia, he’s fearless, resentful, handsome and damaged and his ticket to freedom is one last job.. taken to finally get out from under the rule of Chicago’s Five Families. Katya just wants her and her twin brother to be free from their Hellhole. One will get their wish.. both will find chemistry, passion, love and devotion in the other’s arms.. and each of them will show enormous strength, courage and self-sacrifice as they fight (and nearly die) trying to get their happily ever after. And, under RVD’s careful and talented watch, the cold villain becomes a warm-blooded all-heart hero and the desperate captive holds her head high and becomes a fearless warrior.

Worth a credit? Yes, each and every paragraph pulled me in more and I loved stepping into this exciting and dangerous world again. I loved this love story with its desperate heartbreaking lows, its swoony highs, it’s passion and pleasures and it’s strong sense of brotherhood that no bullet or enemy could destroy.. and they had tried. And finally I loved the dual POV narration by Heather and Tor who both gave it their all.
