I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The author is a talented storyteller with engaging prose and an intriguing plot. Through a compelling narrative, she shows how the protagonist, Steven Anthony, experiences a profound change of heart as he discovers the sacrificial love of his biological mother and the steadfast love of his adoptive father. The author explores the universal theme of the power of love from the perspective of an Asian adoptee growing up in a Caucasian family in white rural America.
