At least it got my mind off my divorce.

Now, with my newfound abilities, the impossible seems possible and the world around me has come to life in ways I never imagined.

But with every new blessing, there comes a curse. The Fae don't like me. The Hunter's Council is searching for me. And my sometimes-enemy, sometimes-crush, Hunter, has disappeared.

I'm not sure I'm ready for what's coming, but I'll be damned if I let the next chapter in my life be a short one.

Destiny?

You just gotta love being 40!' Cute divorcee comes into magical powers she never knew she had! Not only is she a halfling, but no one, not herself, or even her family knows her capabilities. A nice relatively short read appropriate for anyone who enjoys mystery, fantasy or the paranormal. 😍

I really want to continue this series but the books are so short. if there was a better price point I would continue but for now I will be waiting until the next sale.....

Better than the first book

Melinda Chase has crafted an excellent storyline to continue the story from the first book. Traci Odom as always brought it all together seamlessly. I look forward to the next installment.

Bk 2

Being a hybrid - half witch half fae hasn't been easy. No one is supposed to know and yet the witch's council has sent hunters out to kill her kind for no reason.,,or none that she knows of.

Witches fear her, Hunters are tracking her, and the Fae apparently hate her and she doesn't understand how her world got so crazy. On top of it, just to confuse her life a bit more, Shannon beings to have romantic feelings for her hunter.

Traci Odom does a terrific job narrating this story and bringing the characters to life
