When Stephanie’s grandmother passes away, she leaves her restaurant to her favorite granddaughter, with one caveat… Stephanie must be single, widowed, or divorced to inherit it. It’s everything Stephanie’s ever wanted, except she is happily married to her husband, Peter.

With her family all too eager to swoop in and claim it as their own, Stephanie must choose between her husband and her dream of owning the restaurant she’s worked in since she graduated culinary school.

Wanting to ensure her grandmother’s legacy is intact, Stephanie and Peter devise a plan to temporarily divorce, granting Stephanie ownership. With everything in motion, the ruse seems to have fooled everyone, but when has anything ever gone to plan?

Divorce of Convenience is a romantic parody intended for mature audiences.

This book was 2.5 hours of steamy longing, and I was here for every moment the characters thought they had to say goodbye. When Stephanie's grandmother passed away, she left the family restaurant in Stephanie's name. But only if Stephanie was single. Wanting to keep the family legacy going, but still madly in love with her spouse, she and her husband devise a plan to get fake divorced...
But nothing is ever that simple in a well crafted book! What starts as a divorce of convenience soon turns into a complicated tangle of Lies and deceit as the couple tries to navigate how to divorce, stay together, and get everything they have worked so hard for as a couple!
One thing that was hard for me to wrap my tiny brain around was why the grandmother put this clause in the will? That part still confuses me... I must have missed why grammy hated Peter so much! But in the end, the book was so dang cute, and had back to back steamy scenes that are seared into my brain!
