Do Over Doc is the first book in the Matchmaker Series. Dr. Cody Roberts is a large animal veterinarian and bi-vocational pastor. He works exclusively for the H&F Ranch in Bandera, Texas where he is dealing with grief over the death of his wife the year before.

He seeks out psychologist Dr. Bud Hanson for help. Dr. Hanson has a wry sense of humor that is appreciated by his clients. It is not that he makes light of the crises they struggle with, he wants to help them realize there is hope.

Believing no one could take her place, he initially thinks he will never love again. But it seems romance is waiting for him in unexpected places. As Cody gets healthy, he becomes open to the idea of dating again. Friends introduced him to a woman he falls for - and hard.

Grateful for a chance at love again, Cody sets out on a quest to help others find love and discovers he is a natural at it. He becomes known as the Do Over Doc, a sobriquet Cody wears proudly.
